In my own words.

I’m half Irish and half English, having grown up between Dublin and London. I’ve always been curious about people, ideas and the world around me; from history and politics to the very different perspectives you encounter when you move between places and communities. I like bringing ideas to life. Sometimes that means building something with my hands; other times it means getting people excited about an idea and bringing them along with me. I love problem solving, public speaking and making things, which probably explains why my bedroom is currently full of electronics, 3D printers and projects in various states of completion. I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished so far, but I’m equally aware of how lucky I am to have the interests, opportunities and people around me that I do. One thing I’ve taken away from my experiences is just how much talent, money, opportunity and goodwill there is in the world - and how much can happen when the right people decide to build something together. I’m sociable, curious and enjoy meeting people who see the world differently to me. Outside of work, I play playing tennis, surfing, with my friends or looking for an excuse to start another project. A lot of people that spend time with me quickly realise I'm a big Top Gear fan but I also really like the Bond films and Star Wars.  I don’t know exactly what I’ll end up doing, but I want to make the most of the opportunities I’ve been given and use what I’m good at to build something that matters.
